Purpose of the H&S SLA
Health safety and welfare is a basic requirement for workplaces and is enshrined in law through the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and subordinate regulations. The law also requires that all High-Rise buildings under the building Safety Act 2022 is managed as far as reasonably practicable to ensure risk associated with the building from maintenance and habitation is managed.
The safety of the building, Resident and anyone that will be affected by either collapse of the building and fire risk is the responsibility of the accountable person.

Organisation’s Responsibilities
The Organisation will be responsible for:
- Accidents must be reported appropriately and investigated by management with the assistance from JD&Y as required.
- Managers ensure that the responsibilities and arrangements contained in the Organisations’ Health and Safety Policy are always complied with.
- The organisations employees must follow the health and safety policies and procedures.
- All projects undertaken by the organisation which have health and safety implications should be notified to the health and safety team.
- Day to day feedback from the organisations will provide ongoing monitoring.
